The Journal of Sports, Exercise, and Performance (JOSEP) is a peer-reviewed, international, open-access academic journal published by the Sports, Exercise, and Performance Research Association (SEP-ADER). The journal is dedicated to publishing high-quality original research and comprehensive reviews. Its scope spans exercise physiology, sports science, physical and cognitive performance, and sports psychology.

JOSEP prioritizes and prefers multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary studies that focus on the associations and effects of human movement on health- and performance-related outcomes, bridging the broader areas of kinesiology, neuroscience, and related research fields. JOSEP is particularly interested in publishing articles on the intersection of physical activity and digital solutions to promote health and performance.
